Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s) are available in an easily reviewable, electronic, downloadable format from NC State University’s SDS database.
SDS are safety documents required by OSHA that communicate detailed information such as risk and hazards associated with the specific chemical unique to each manufacturer.
While electronic access is acceptable, chemicals users are encouraged to keep hard copies of high hazard/ frequently used chemicals.
The SDS shall be reviewed before a new chemical is used.
