Controlled substances are drugs or chemicals whose manufacture, possession, and use are regulated by the government. To assist NC State personnel comply with these regulations and University policy, specific institutional requirements have been established for the management of controlled substances and precursor chemicals. Please complete and submit the Controlled Substances Registration form to EH&S when registering or renewing your DEA and NC-DCU controlled substances registration. This form is for EH&S notification only and is not part of the registration process with the state and federal administrations.
