Roberto Garcia in Engineering Research Department has led a successful effort in combining and documenting the EHS and internal required training modules. Utilizing the Reporter, training records are documented and employee/student access to equipment/lab is granted only when all required training modules are completed. This is a good model for controlling access to hazardous material, equipment, and processes, making sure that users are informed of the hazards and risks in their work environment and have proper training before using/accessing hazardous material and equipment. |
