Hazard Reviews are intended to minimize the risk of serious injury, property damage, and the associated impact of these events by reviewing hazardous equipment and processes and eliminating unreasonable risks at the design stage. Hazard Reviews, performed by process owners and users, with EH&S assistance where required, will generate appropriate recommendations for equipment design, work practices and personal protective equipment. Hazard Review recommendations are documented within your lab Safety Plan; more substantial reviews may be attached to your lab Safety Plan. Hazard Reviews must be revisited and updated before implementation of any process change potentially impacting risk.
