Personal Decontamination
Call 911 immediately.
For chemical contamination on skin, immediately flush with flowing water for at least 15 minutes. Wash with warm water and mild soap if there is not visible burn.
For chemical contamination on clothing, quickly remove all contaminated clothing while using a safety shower while being mindful not to spread contamination to the skin or eyes. Place the clothing in a plastic bag or other waste area until EHS can determine if it is suitable for laundering.
For chemical contamination to the eyes, immediately flush with flowing water from an emergency eye wash or other source for at least 15 minutes. Hold the eyelids away from the eyeball and move the eye in all directions to promote decontamination.
